Play Movies In ASCII ART

Ever wanted to watch a movie in text mode or ascii art, One of vlc amazing ability's is to playback movies in ASCII ART. This is a really cool feature and entertaining.
To Enable.

• Go To VLC Tools and Preferences
• Click The Video Icon
• Click The Output Module Drop Down, Select Color ASCII art video output
• Restart VLC, Then Play A Movie. 

 Record Movies/Videos 

Record what is playing on the screen, maybe it be or movie or video.
This options can also be used to take screen shots.
By default the record features wouldn't been enabled. To Enable.

• Go To View And Select Advanced Controls
• Now The Option To Record Will Be Available
• To Use Click The Record Button Once
• The Button Lights Up Blue When Recording
• To Stop Recording Click It Once More
• The Buttons Lights No More
• The Videos Are Saved In Documents Or Videos 
• According To The Version You Are Using 

Rip A DVD
Simply load the DVD you are so desperately trying to rip.

• Under Media Click Convert/Save 
• Once The Open Media Window Appear Click The Disc Tab
• Click Browse And Search For You DVD If Not All Ready Found
• Next Click Convert/Save
• The Save Window Will Appear
• Select Browse Once More And Save Movie As moviename.(file extension)
• For Example The_Lottery_Ticket.avi OR The_Great_Escape.mov
• After Everything Is Set Up And Ready Click Start

 Play RAR Files / Play Movies Inside Of RAR Files
Did you know that vlc can play movies/videos inside of RAR files?
Well now you know. To Enable.

• Open RAR File
• Click Movie Twice To Open And Play

 Download You-Tube Videos
Yes you can even download you-tube videos.

• Start With Selecting A You-Tube Video
• Once Selected Open VLC
• Go To Media Streaming
• The Open Media Windows Appears 
• Navigate To Networking
• Now Paste The You-Tube Url In The Below Box http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrlWXP4ZQvY
• Then Click The Arrow Next To Stream
• Now Click Convert
• Click Browse And Save The File As Video.Avi OR South_Park_Whale_Wars.avi

Convert You-Tube Videos To MP3

• Follow The Above Commands
• But Save The File With A Different Extension Such as .MP3, .MP4 or .Wav
