Stuxnet a Microsoft Windows computer worm discovered in july 2010, found that it targets industrial software and equipment, the first weapon made entirely of code. Its the first discovered malware to include (PLC) Programmable Logic Controller Rootkit, and the first to also spy on and subverts industrial systems, without being detected and indiscriminately spreads through out the whole system.
