But the thing that limit us from using our smart phones are gloves. Gloves are our main enemy in cold weather. You may have noticed when you have gloves on that your so called smart phones doesn't work. The problem is that some smart phones (iPhone) uses capacitive touch. Capacitive Touch uses electrical signals from your body to tell whether or not you are touching the screen. This is why you can not use your phone with gloves. On the other hand there is a way to use your smart phone with your Gloves on and this trick does not evolve cutting them. How to use your gloves with your Smartphone
Like I mentioned this trick doesn't mean destroying your gloves only modifying them so that they are more capacitive touch. To modify your gloves to work with your smart phone you'll need a couple of things. What you'll need
- A Needle.
- Some Conductive Thread can be found at Amazon! via CanaKit Conductive Thread (Thin) - 50'.
- A pair of Gloves
*Tip [make sure your fingers are touching the thread in the inside] |
- Simply use the Conductive Thread to sew the inside and the outside of the glove.
- So that electric static from your hands flow towards the smart phone.
If everything goes well you should be able to operate your smart phone using your gloves.
